...stories because I can't sit still long enough to finish either one of them.

One of them is a story that was inspired by a cheesy prompt. Cheesy or not, it got me writing and that's all that matters, I think. Anyway, it's that thing that I was working on when I wrote my last journal. The one with Mr. Merriweather.

The other one is something that I've had on the back-burner for quite a long time. It's evolved from a short, choppy piece about a hit-man to a longer (unfinished) piece with two story-lines that are supposed to...well, I suppose I shouldn't ruin the ending even though I'm not quite there yet. I just finished the first section. It is rough, rugged and unpolished (like how I like my men). I'm debating on posting it...

Well, anyway, I'm not working tomorrow and so my goal is to write and edit all day tomorrow and post something by the end of the day. If I get my butt in gear, I could probably post something tonight but I wouldn't hold my breath. I've been lazy lately.

So I graduated (WOOOO!) and I moved. I'm still in the process of unpacking. I'm also looking forward to a job substitute teaching. I'm just waiting for my last letter of recommendation. She said that it would be after spring break and so it should be any day now. Once I get that in and I have my placement file set up, I can start applying for jobs. Yay!

I've been working on something really random in the midst of my packing/unpacking/moving boxes around/etc. Still a work in progress. Here's a sample line:

"You don't have to call me Mr. Merriweather. You can call me Big -"

I'm just busy student teaching. I'm going to graduate in a couple of weeks with my BA and I promise I'll be more active then. Promise!

There are more on the list but I'll stop at 10 because that's a nice round number.

...dead. Just busy with life. So many things have been happening (none of it good). Hopefully things start to look up soon. If not, you might see some depressing, mock-Russian/Emo lit up soon. Or maybe some Country music lyrics (I have to take my dog to the vet on Friday to have her put down).
